Our vision is to create spaces where young people thrive; have fun, realise identity, love God, influence society, become a disciple of Jesus. We do this as a family, journeying together with lots of laughter and encouragement!
If you’re in school years 7-13, come and join us!
WHEN TO COME
We know that time is precious to our youth so we are concentrating our time to worship with them on Sunday evenings and Wednesdays. They are always welcome to join the main services on Sunday mornings.
***New format for 2022***
Ignite: Year 7-13
6-7.45pm every Sunday evening
(Term Time only)
4-5.00pm every Wednesday
(Term Time only)
Look in our Upcoming Events to see when each session is running and also to find out about other events happening for our young people.
Ignite is a place to have fun, build relationships, be a family and to learn more about God.
Ignite is run at St Luke's Church, Franklin Square, HG1 5EL
The name ‘4twelve’ came from 1 Timothy 4: 12
‘Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity’.
The aim of this group is to go deeper into the bible and to develop our relationship with God whilst having lots of fun and good discussions. It will also be a place where young people can discuss issues that are important and relevant to them and how being a Christian might impact the way we react to these issues.
4twelve has a new venue for 2022, Artizan International Cafe, Cambridge Street (near McDonalds)
We usually run a Youth Alpha course once a year which works towards the young people's confirmation by the Bishop.
This is open to any young person in Year 9 upwards.
For more details or to find out when the next course is starting, contact Emma James.
