This year we are doing something different and we are asking everyone to make their own Christingles before coming to the service at St John's or watching the livestreaming on Facebook.
We will provide the candle and the red tape but we would like you to get your own orange, toothpicks and sweets to use.
We will have a table set up at St John's on SATURDAY 12TH DECEMBER, 10am-12pm for you to come and collect your candles and tape. We will be offering tea and coffee and time for a (socially distanced) chat when you come.
Don't know how to make a Christingle? Watch this video to learn how...
We have also decided that to minimise risks (and taking into account Andy's impending new baby!) we will only have one Christingle service this year, which is on Sunday 13th December at 5pm at St John's. Tickets can be booked through Eventbrite here. If you are going to watch from home, please do book a take-home kit through Eventbrite too so we know how many to make available.
If you will not be able to pick up a candle and tape, or will struggle to make a Christingle beforehand, please let the parish office know and we will deliver one to you.
